
About the owners
The Espinosa Hernandez spouses, both of Mexican nationality, decided to undertake a trip that would take them to Delaware, United States. With the aspiration to get ahead, they began a journey that would lead them to build what we now know as "El Nopal Mexican Restaurant" full of great motivation and inspiration, they have come here after 14 years and are very excited that April will be 15 years
From San Luis Potosí to Delaware
San Luis Potosí is a city in central Mexico. It was a major gold and silver mining hub on the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, a trade route during the mid-16th to the 19th centuries. It’s known for colonial buildings, like the imposing, baroque-era Templo de San Francisco, which dominates the lush Jardín de San Francisco.
San Luis Potosí has a great diversity of food and tourist places that make it a wonderful place. They decided to bring a grain of this incredible land. The Espinosa Hernandez spouses brought it here DELAWARE their original dishes and their indescribable flavor has led them to win recognitions that make us proud as Hispanics.
